About This Platform
The mission of MINALOC is to ensure the coordination of good governance and high quality territorial administration programs that promote economic, social and political development throughout the nation.
To that end, MINALOC initiated an e-learning platform aimed at bringing together and facilitating easy access to all capacity-building interventions delivered by its affiliated agencies for local government staff and elected leaders. The platform's courses are designed to continuously strengthen local governance, improve public service delivery, and equip users with skills aligned with Rwanda’s National Strategy for Transformation (NST2) and other national development priorities.
By fostering stronger collaboration and partnerships, MINALOC continues to work with key stakeholders in local government capacity building such as RALGA, Bloomberg Philanthropies for Data for Health, Vital Strategies, and Local Administrative Entities Development Agency (LODA), National Identification Agency NIDA), etc. by promoting digital learning and advancing e-governance. These efforts aim to contribute to Rwanda’s broader vision of building a digitally literate, accountable, and performance-driven public sector that supports inclusive and sustainable development.
